About Siddharth Nagar Investor Summit 2023
Siddharth Nagar Investor Summit (SIS) 2023 scheduled on 20th Jan 2023 at Siddharth Nagar, is the flagship Investment Summit of the Department of Industries under the aegis of Government of Uttar Pradesh. Its one day Investors Summit will bring together policy makers, corporate leaders, business delegations, academia, think-tanks and Political and Government leadership from across the globe, to collectively explore business opportunities and forge partnerships.
SIS 2023 is an initiative aligned to the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, of making our country a USD 5 Trillion economy, towards which the Government of Uttar Pradesh has set an aspiration target of making the State a USD 1 Trillion economy in next 5 years.
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has taken various reformative steps in creating a holistic ecosystem for industrial development, through policy driven governance by formulating 25+ policies to attract investment across Defence & Aerospace Manufacturing, EV Manufacturing, Warehousing & Logistics, Electronics Manufacturing, Tourism, Textile, MSME, etc. Through this flagship Investment Summit, the State Government aspires to reinforce the investment attractiveness of Uttar Pradesh amongst the investor’s community and create opportunities for an inclusive development of the State.
SIS 2023 will witness participation of more than 500+ delegates (Domestic and International) from over 20 states, generating widespread influence and will serve as a unique forum for business networking, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships by bringing together business leaders, political and economic dignitaries, entrepreneurs, & industry associates from across the world. The Government of Uttar Pradesh has set a target of attracting investment intents of worth INR 10 Lakh Crore at UPGIS 2023 and has come out with a new online system for signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and monitoring their implementation. Leading to UPGIS 2023, the Government of Uttar Pradesh is organizing roadshows at 16 Countries and 8 Key India cities, to propagate the investment attractiveness of Uttar Pradesh and garner investment intents. Many progressive economies like the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Germany, The Netherlands and UAE have already committed to be the ‘Partner Country’. image Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 will witness Sector Specific Knowledge Sessions, Partner Country Sessions, B2B/B2G/G2G Meetings, Networking Meets, Innovation Exhibition with global tech-products being displayed from across the world, art & craft representation of Uttar Pradesh, cultural programs among other elements. The state government proposes to attract investment intents of ₹10 lakh crore at the Investors Summit. Ahead of UPGIS 2023, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has come out with a new online system for signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and monitoring their implementation. SIS 2023 will witness knowledge sessions, cross-border investment commitments and the Summit will be an amalgamation of World Business, Political& Government leaders coming together for the economic development of our country. Uttar Pradesh is the growth engine of India, and country’s third largest economy growing at a fast rate. Lying along the fertile plains of Ganges the state is blessed with unlimited opportunities. The investor friendly policy direction of my Government and the Good Governance initiatives, complementing the inherent strengths of the state, will definitely go a long way in transforming the state into a preferred investment destination.
